Zaragoza possesses many architectural treasures. The scenery of the Province of Zaragoza is very varied: from the spurs of the Pyrenees to the snow-capped peaks of El Moncayo, from the wheat-growing plains of Las Cinco Villas and the sober Monegros to the fertile valleys of the Gallego, the Jalon and the Jiloca.
The Aragon Pyrenees forms the northern Aragon. The province of Teruel, in the south of Aragon offers abundant contrasts between the plains surrounding Teruel city and mountainous areas such as Gudar, Albarracin or Javalambre. Teruel has some of the best Mudejar architecture you will find anywhere, and nearby Albarracin is a medieval treat.
