  • Aragon Caving

The underground world has always been surrounded by mystery, legend and an irresistible attraction, as it is one of the most suggestive and unusual spectacles that nature can offer.
The Aragonese territory is excellent to practise caving as it has a wide range of possibilities. From the large deep Pyrenean mountain ranges (Torla, Escuain, Arañonera of the Massif of Tendenera where the greatest differences in level in Aragon can be found) to the cavities of Sierra de Guara, also in Huesca, the caves of Moncayo in Zaragoza or the potholes of San Pedro de Oliete in Teruel where the Sports Caving championships are held. Some of these caves have been prepared for tourism such as the cave of Guixas in Villanua (Huesca) and the Crystal caves in Molinos (Teruel).
